WELCOME to Challenge #73 - Let the Troubles Begin

"A Die-lirious Holiday Season
(December 7, 2020, to January 3, 2021)

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "I am in a state of wild excitement! There are only 18 days until Christmas and it's time to get Die-lirious. Select your favorite cutting tool, i.e. dies, punches, and/or cutting machines, and finish your holiday cards, tags, ornaments, gift box/bags, money and gift card holders, etc.

If you have completed all of your holiday preparation this may be a good time to prepare a scrapbook page(s) for your 2020 festivities -  and hopefully, the only festivities limited by a Pandemic. For this challenge, blanks can be placed on the scrapbook page in place of photos.

If you use a Cricut for your project (or Silhouette, Brother ScanNCut, or another similar device) you will get an extra chance for the DTC random draw.

You can stop here...
OR, you can decide to use the Optional Twist below.

Thing 3: Twisted Sister
says, "Since we are Wrapping It Up, let's include either patterned paper in your project and/or a "Tie It Up" twist by including string, cord, ribbon, twine, tinsel, etc. The choice is yours.

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

Thing 2: Double Dare
says, "Bitten by the Bug 2 is a challenge that usually requires the inclusion of a cut from a Cricut, however, we CUT a holiday Die'al with them."

"For this challenge only, they are accepting the use of cut items from punches, dies, and any digital cutting machine, but NO fussy-cutting! You don't need to use Twisted Sister's optional twist to enter and you will still earn an additional chance at the Double Trouble Random Draw" when you enter your project HERE for Bitten by The Bug 2."

HAPPY HOLIDAYS:
Once you've wrapped up the holidays, what's better than receiving a crafting gift after the holidays?  In addition to the random draw prize, we will pick a favorite in each of the following categories and you will receive a Gift Card. To qualify, you must identify in your post what machine or tool you used for your project... don't keep us guessing
  • Cards, Tags
  • Gift Boxes, Ornaments, Table Display
  • Scrapbook Page
  • Machine-made Project (for using a Cricut, Silhouette, Brother ScanNCut, or another similar device)

Please make a note of the Challenge dates. Challenge #73 begins on Monday, December 7, 2020 and ends on Sunday evening, January 3, 2021. The Design Team will be posting photos of additional projects on Monday, December 21, 2020.

Change to Double Trouble Rules on entries per challenge: Since the challenge is open for a month, the first two weeks you can submit up to 4 Entries (Dec 7 - Dec 20),
and another 4 entries can be submitted for the second two weeks (Dec 21-Jan 3).

We wish you all a Blessed Holiday Season
and a Happy New Year!

"Something, Anything, Everything"
"Optional: Let It Snow"

THING 1: Trouble Maker

You can stop here...

OR, you can choose to include Twisted Sister's Optional Twist below to earn additional chances at our random draw.

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "I can't get these songs out of my mind... Ten Little Snowflakes, Frosty the Snowman, Jingle Bells, and a personal favorite, Let It Snow! Create a project that celebrates white, sparkly flakes of snow, i.e. snow-people, snow angels, snowbirds, snow sports, snowflakes, snow scenes, snowballs, snow cones, even a snow-covered tree, etc."

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

Challenge #71 "All the Trimmings" Partnering with The Paper FunDay

Click HERE for an introduction to our challenges
and HERE for complete guidelines.
Please take the time to read them so you don't get into trouble. Consider becoming a follower and using our participant badge or a photo from our current challenge for your blog posting.

WELCOME to Challenge #71
Let the Troubles Begin
This Challenge runs from
Monday, Nov 16th thru Sunday, Nov 29th

"All the Trimmings”

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "With Thanksgiving just around the corner, most of us will enjoy turkey with 'all the trimmings'. We have included popular "trimmings" in our TicTacToe Board for paper-crafters. There's even a FREE space!

So my challenge is to create a festive project from the board. To start all you need to do is select a direction that works for you - a row, a column, or a diagonal. And it's okay to include other ingredients from the board to enhance your project.

You can stop here...
OR you can use Twisted Sister's optional twist below

TRIVIA: After the first Thanksgiving, the observance was sporadic and almost forgotten until the early 1800s. It was usually celebrated in late September or October. In 1941, Congress made it a national holiday and set the date as the fourth Thursday in November.

Thing 3: Twisted Sister
says, "The morning air is crisp as I sit on the patio enjoying my coffee and playing with Trouble Maker’s TicTacToe. I feel so "sentiment-al" as the leaves change color. Let's create a project with a greeting or sentiment. It should be noticeable - large, bold, or bright if you wish."

"This can be any sentiment that you choose or you may want to use one of our partner’s optional sentiments 'Give Thanks/ Thankful/ Grateful'."

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

Thing 2: Double Dare
says, "The Paper Funday Challenge #23 is an Anything Goes monthly challenge, however, they have an optional theme of 'Give Thanks/Thankful/Grateful'. So we would be grateful if you use their option, too. If you have created a card that fits their challenge, whether or not you used Twisted Sister's optional twist, you will receive an additional chance at the Double Trouble Random Draw."

Note: Paper Funday Challenges also have prizes, however, you must be a follower of their Challenge Blog to be eligible.
