Guidelines

There are several parts to this challenge,
but the only requirement is to play along with Thing 1.
We encourage you to add some fun... try our options by participating in
Twisted Sister's Thing 3 and/or Double Dare's Thing 2
to earn additional chances in our random drawing.

* 2025: It has become increasingly difficult to find challenges compatible with our challenge dates and interferes with our planned scheduling. With the new year approaching, it's a good time to make some changes. We are optimistic that these modifications will be more consistent with Monday challenges.

Effective January 6, 2025 our challenges are moving to bi-weekly, beginning on a Monday and ending on Sunday evening, elimating the 5th Monday one-week challenge.

Thing 1 Trouble Maker will feature theme using a "3-2-1 Recipe" from our Kitchen for all future challenges, but the ingredients may vary from one challenge to another.

Thing 3 Twisted Sister will remain as an optional twist related to the 3-2-1 Recipe and if included in your project you will get an additional chance at our random drawing.

Thing 2 Trouble Maker, will be promoting our Sister Challenge Try a Sketch On Tuesday (TSOT) with each new challenge and if you use the TSOT Sketch you will get an additional chance at our random draw. We may also have an alternative challenge alert and if used another chance at our random draw.

1918-2024: Our challenges start the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. If there is a 5th Monday, we will have a special one-week event titled "Something, Anything, Everything" Challenge (aka AG, Anything Goes). There may be times for partnering that the start dates may change but will be notified in the previous post before change.

1918-2024: A theme or special technique will be included with each new challenge by Thing 1, Trouble Maker, and must be included in your project to be eligible for both a Top 3 Winner Award and the Random Draw Prize. Top 3 Winners are awarded a Top 3 Badge and the Random Draw Winner is entitled to a prize (see eligibility requirements below).

Thing 3, Twisted Sister, and Thing 2, Double Trouble, will have optional twists if you choose to participate for additional chances for our random draw.

We reserve the right to disqualify your project if it does not meet the challenge criteria.

We are a challenge for hand-crafted items. While digital images and elements are permitted, the project result must be a physical hand-held, paper-crafted item that a person would typically place in an envelope or package to give away. Therefore, hybrid creations are acceptable using digital elements that have been printed and used on a project.

With this in mind, the Design Team must be able to discern that the project meets this standard. If we believe that the project is merely a digital photo and not a sendable greeting card, it will be disqualified from Top Three Recognition and excluded from the Random Drawing.

Link directly to your blog post and not your blog. PLEASE NOTE: Only DIRECT LINKS to your entry will be eligible for any prize or award.

Your entry must be new. No back linking to previous work, unless otherwise specified.

You can have up to FOUR entries per challenge, but each entry must be different. (Please do not post more than one photograph per entry to the challenge.)

There is no limit in combining our challenge with others. However, be sure you include the name of our challenge and a link back to our challenge blog when you post to your own blog or platform. This guideline must be followed or your entry will not be eligible for a prize or award.

The Design Team makes every attempt to review your entry and leave a comment on your blog. If you post using Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, SplitCoast Stampers or other social media, we may have limitations to commenting but you are still eligible for our Top 3 and random draws.

A random draw winner will be chosen using a random generator tool unless otherwise stated. Special Random Prizes were only open to residents of U.S.A. and Canada. However, effective 8/20/2021 our random draws will also be open to International entrants. Due to cost of mailing International paperwork and mailing cost, we will be extending a Gift Certificate for your choice of digital images from Angie Blom Digital Design.

A random winner must contact us within twenty calendar days to receive their prize or the prize will be forfeited. Contact us at: challengedoubletrouble@gmail.com.

We will announce the "Top Three and Random Draw Winners" link on the current challenge post within one week after challenge has closed.
