Twisted Sister's Thing 3 and/or Double Dare's Thing 2
to earn additional chances to our random draw.

WELCOME to Challenge #128 - Let the Troubles Begin!
Special One-Week Challenge
From Thursday, December 29th thru Thursday, January 5th

"SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing"

THING 1: Trouble Maker
says, "It's time again to grab your bone folder and other crafty stuff and create something new. We think this is easier than folding a fitted sheet! It's time to use the stuff you have in your stash (new and/or old) for our one-week special of SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing (aka Anything Goes)."

You can stop here...

OR, you can choose to include Twisted Sister's Optional Twist below to earn additional chances at our random draw.

THING 3:  Twisted Sister
says, "I've been known to give you optional twists that are more complicated and challenging than this. But I think we all need a rest after holiday activities and before the New Year.  Soooo... let's keep this simple. Simply use stencil(s) somewhere in your project... and simply show us how simple that can be."

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "I dare you to multiply the fun by linking your project with any previous partner(s) listed below. You will qualify for extra chances in our Random Draw."

"Make sure you read their guidelines carefully and observe their dates. We don't want you to get into trouble.

"This means each time you link to a previous partner with the same card, you gain an additional chance. Please identify each of them in your blog along with our Double Trouble link."

SPECIAL: Earn TWO Chances at our Random Draw and give one of our previous partners at Heart2Heart "Full Circle" a Big Send-Off and enter your project before they close on December 31st with their final challenge. We are saddened that they are leaving the Challenge Arena.  Heart2Heart says "Our final challenge for December, Full Circle, is a poignant one because we have made the difficult decision to discontinue throwing down challenges here. We do hope that you will join us for one last hurrah as we go full circle!"

Heart2Heart encourages the use of at least one Close To My Heart product but for this challenge, however they have waived this requirement.  Don't keep us guessing... If you included in your post the CTMH products you used."  you will have earned the second chance to the SPECIAL H2H entry to our random draw.

Before we go to our December Challenge, please note our
Change in Start Dates for December and January

Challenge #128 "SomeThing AnyThing, EveryThing" will start on December 29th ending on January 5th instead of our usual 5th Monday of the month to accommodate our Friday Challenges for January.

January Challenges:  Since we have lost some of our Monday partners, we have confirmed two challenges that start on Friday, January 6th and January 20th.  February we will be back to 1st and 3rd Monday challenges.

WELCOME to Challenge #127 - Let the Troubles Begin!
This challenge runs from
Friday, December 2nd thru Wednesday, December 28th, 2022
"Kaleidoscope of Colors"
Your Theme, and Choose Thing 1, 2 or 3 for your Palette of Color(s)
Since our Challenge is for the full month of December you can have up to eight entries.

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "If you are seeking open challenges in December this is the challenge for you. Here is your opportunity to finish cards for the winter holidays, or perhaps for any other occasions you choose.  You are free to pick any theme and your favorite color palette.

"In addition to my randomly drawn prize, Twisted Sister and Double Dare will each have their own random draw so you may wish to consider their favorite color palettes provided by our partner, Colorful Options. (My regular random draw will include all entries including these special color palettes.) We can't wait to see what you create."

Thing 3: Twisted Sister
says, "Oh my, I just came back from checking out the Colorful Options Challenge inspiration photo which elicits images of snow, weddings, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Wow! 'White' is their color of the month. There is nothing as chic as an all-white design.

"Use your imagination and rely on textures and layering from things in your stash such as embossing folders, stitching, frame and image dies, doilies, other white embellishments, etc. As an exception, you may use black or a choice of one other color for the sentiment and/or for a minimal splash of color. Just keep your project predominantly white.”

Thing 2: Double Dare
says, "After reviewing the inspiration photo, I fell in love with the Colorful Options Challenge 'Rainbow of Color' choice. It may not be as chic as Twisted Sister thinks of her white project but a 'Rainbow of Color' is very creative with so many happy colors.

"For 'Rainbow of Color' you are free to use the Traditional RYOGBV. However, you are not limited to a traditional palette. Feel free to use a pastel palette OR a neon palette of rainbow colors."

We are partnering with the Colorful Options Challenge. For additional details on their color options read their guidelines on the sidebar of their blog challenge. If you have created a project using 'Winter White' and/or 'Rainbow of Colors' enter your project HERE at the Colorful Options December Challenge for another chance in our regular or special random draw prizes.

WELCOME to Challenge #126  - Let the Troubles Begin!
This Challenge runs from
Monday, November 21st thru Sunday, December 4th
"Scrapper's GORP"

There are several parts to this challenge,
but the only requirement is to play along with Thing 1's Requirement
To Add fun... choose to use Twisted Sister's and/or Double Dare's optional twists
and earn additional changes to our random draw.

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Wow! We missed National Trail Mix Day. Trail Mix, aka GORP (a mix of certain cereals, nuts, pretzels, raisins, dried fruits, M&Ms, etc.).  Sounds yummy, but we have a yummy trail mix for Scrapper's GORP.

"Do you remember way back years ago when we didn't mix plaids, stripes, checks, flowers, and polka dots? Not true today... this is our recipe for Scrapper's GORP.  Look through your stash for stamps, stencils, patterned papers, washi tape, etc., to find at least two or more of the ingredients in our Scrapper's GORP and include them in your project... the ingredients are your choice."

You may opt to use Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch to the right - or not, but this is a perfect sketch for our Scrapper's GORP and if you use this sketch you will earn two additional chances in our random draw.

You can stop here...
OR
Play with Twisted Sister's optional twist below to earn another chance in our random draw.

Thing 3:  Twisted Sister
says, "I love mixing patterns. You'll often find me wearing a polka-dot striped shirt, floral pants, and a plaid hat.  There are so many things that I like to mix and piece together.

"Have you ever tried the paper piecing technique? It can be a lot of fun!  Here is a YouTube tutorial that may help you with this technique MFT Tips & Tricks - Paper  Piecing.  Include an image(s) that demonstrates your paper piecing skill."

Optional Twist:  If you have included paper piecing in your project you will earn another chance in our random draw.

Thing 2:  Double Dare
says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement 'Scrapper's GORP', and used the TSOT sketch, with or without piecing, you are eligible to enter your project HERE at Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch Challenge #584 for an additional chance in our random draw.

Special Notes:  Please note that Try Stampin' on Tuesday starts on Tuesday, Nov 22nd. If you post your project at Double Trouble on Monday, the 21st, you are still eligible to enter your project at TSOT. You are permitted to backlink for that Monday only. So be sure to visit again on Tuesday so you can post your card to the TSOT Challenge using the link provided above.
