Welcome to Double Trouble - We're two retired ladies bringing you a challenge where we hope you will find fun and inspiration! We're not affiliated with any companies and we welcome all participants. Our challenges will include Thing 1 - Trouble Maker (the Basic Challenge), Thing 2 - Double Dare (an optional element in which you may or may not decide to participate) and Thing 3 - Twisted Sister (a surprise twist to Trouble Maker's Basic Challenge.
says, "What's your background? Our requirement for this challenge is to create a background using one of these techniques: dry embossing, stenciling, stamping or inked. We don't want to see a patterned paper in the background unless you created it! In summary, create something "YouNique" - and share in your post which technique(s) you used.

says, "Well, most of you know my background... I usually provide you with an optional twist, but I'm just going to simply say if you have used either of the Atlantic Hearts sketches, you have already earned another chance in our random draw for each time you have used their sketch.

says, "In keeping with Thing 1's requirement 'YouNique Technique' if you have used one of the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges, you can enter your project below. Make sure the sketch or sketches you choose is/are submitted within the specific challenge dates shown below. Links are provided by clicking on the specific sketch below.

"Let's Go Masculine"
Thing 1: Trouble Maker says, "Father's Day is just around the corner... this is a good time to honor your Dad or someone special who has had an impact on your life, but your project doesn't have to be for Father's Day. I'm challenging you to create a masculine project, e.g., Birthday, Thank You, congratulations... any occasion for a favorite guy is acceptable."
IF you want to be a little ambitious and boost your creativity, our partner has this sketch that is perfect for including masculine elements. Feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image. IF you use this sketch you will receive an additional chance in our random draw.

Thing 3: Twisted Sister says, "I love a man in plaid and/or stripes... the flannel shirts have been put away for the summer, but who cares? It really doesn't matter because I'm sure you have hidden plaids and/or stripes in your stash any time of the year. Check your stash for stamps, embossing folders, stencils, etc., or give us a free-hand design of a plaid and/or stripe."
NEED HELP? Here are some great masculine card samples from 2011 Joyfully Made Designs using plaids and/or stripes that you might be inspiring and could be incorporated into the TSOT sketch above.
This is an Optional Twist and if you have included a plaid and/or stripe in your project you will earn another chance in our Random Draw.
Thing 2: Double Dare
says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement to create a masculine card and have used Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #559, you are are eligible to enter your project HERE and earn another chance for our Random Draw."
Please note that Try Stampin' on Tuesday starts on Tuesday, June 7th. If you post your project at Double Trouble on Monday, the 6th, you are still eligible to enter your project at TSOT. We are permitted to backlink for that Monday only... so be sure to visit again on Tuesday so you can post your card to the TSOT Challenge using the link provided above.

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "I discovered an occasion in June called 'Repeat Day'. Repeat Day is a day that offers an opportunity to do something or to use something over and over. Repeat Day is a day that offers an opportunity to do something or to use something over and over.
"Let's give the occasion a nod by using the same stamped or digital image more than once on the front of your project. You may choose to use an exact duplicate OR use a companion image, provided it coordinates with your original image."
Companion Examples: If you select a cat, the first may be a sleeping cat and the repeated companion can be a cat at play. Another example is if you are using an umbrella - one may be open, the other closed.
This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.
THING 2: Double Dare
says, "I dare you to multiply the fun by linking your project with any previous partner(s) listed below. You will qualify for extra chances in our Random Draw.
"Make sure you read their guidelines carefully and observe their dates. We don't want you to get into trouble."
This means each time you link to a previous partner with the same card, you gain an additional chance in our Random Draw. Please identify each of them in your blog along with our Double Trouble link.
