Challenge #209 3-2-1 Recipe "The Mail Must Go On"

WELCOME to Challenge #209 - Let the Troubles Begin!
Challenge runs from Monday, Feb 2nd thru Sunday, Feb 15th.

Here is Thing 1's 3-2-1 Recipe "The Mail Must Go On"
Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun
Specific information is available by clicking on each ingredient.
        3  Layers including the card base
        2  Images (sentiments don't count as images)
        1  CAS Clean and Simple Technique
Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you may enhance ingredients 3 and 2 in your project by using more than the ingredients stipulated. 

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "'Valentine’s Day' and 'Send a Card to a Friend Day' are celebrated this month... so any occasion will do. The occasion does not matter, the thought does!

"However, there is a special day for mail carriers on Wednesday, February 4th, and we're reflecting on how much we rely on them through rain, snow, sleet, or hail, they will deliver your mail. So, let's not burden them with bulky mail… let’s keep it clean and simple using our 3-2-1 Recipe above."

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "Clean & Simple is cool, but I want to see color. My optional twist is to create that CAS project with any single color you choose. That's right - ANY single color! Please remember to leave plenty of open, uncluttered space. We look forward to seeing your ideas for using color in place of white while keeping it CAS and uncluttered. So use your imagination and play along."

If you have created a CAS card with color, your project will earn you another chance in our random drawing. 

THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "Click on my clipart to the left for a sneak peek of the sketch from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #688. My optional dare is to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe ' Name '. If you do, you will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing. 

"Please note that TSOT starts Tuesday, January 3rd, so this sneak peek gives you the day before to create; but remember... to prevent backlinking, your project should not be posted, published, or entered before January 3rd, in Try a Sketch On Tuesday." 

Alternate Challenge: We also have an Alternate Challenge. If you have created ta project using our 3-2-1 Recipe "The Mail Must Go On" and have included a heart you can enter your project at Pearly Sparkle Challenge #116 HERE and earn another chance at our random drawing.

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "We're sliding into another fabulous year as we observe Penguin Appreciation Day on Tuesday, January 20th. I'm flapping with glee... so waddle we do next? Let's keep calm and waddle on by stirring up some trouble in Double Trouble's Kitchen and create a project, for any occasion, using our 3-2-1 Recipe above."

Fun Pun: Did you know why you never see penguins in the UK? Because they are afraid of Wales.

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker 
says, "While looking through the 2026 calendar, there is a Word Nerd Day on Wednesday, January 20th. After looking into our Seuss family history, it was discovered that a NERD was one of the preferred zoo creatures in the 1950 book 'If I Ran the Zoo'. 

"At that time, Nerds were outsiders, but today a Nerd is brainy and a bit geeky, and that's pretty cool... so let's stir up some trouble in Double Trouble's Kitchen and create a cool, wild and/or crazy project, for any occasion, with our 3-2-1 recipe below."

3-2-1 Recipe "Cool, Wild and/or Crazy"
Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun
