WELCOME to Challenge #215 - Let the Troubles Begin!
Challenge runs from Monday, April 27th thru Sunday, May 10th

Here is Thing 1's 3-2-1 Recipe - "A Special Day"
Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun
Specific information is available by clicking on each ingredient.
        3  Layers (Card Base does count) 
        2  Shapes or Images 
        1  Stenciled and/or Dry Embossed Element 
Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you may enhance your project by using more than the ingredients stipulated.

THING 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "There are many events to enjoy in May, but one that is always special is Mother’s Day, which falls this year on Sunday, May 10. This is also the perfect time to recognize other remarkable women in your life – a family member such as an aunt, a daughter, a niece, or even a dear friend. 

In observance of May events, we're stirring up a special recipe so you can create a project for any occasion, using all the ingredients from our 3-2-1 recipe above."

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "April showers are gone, and as I'm walking through my colorful garden, feeling carefree, it makes me want to sing, 'April Showers Bring May Flowers'. I am in a blooming kind of mood... so last bud not least... my optional twist is to include flower(s) in your project."

If you have included my optional twist in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Drawing.


THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "Click on my clipart to the left for a sneak peek of the sketch from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #694. My optional dare is to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe, 'A Special Day'. If you do, you will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing.

"Please note that TSOT starts Tuesday, April 28th, so this sneak peek gives you the day before to create; but remember... to prevent backlinking, your project should not be posted, published, or entered before April 28th, in Try a Sketch On Tuesday." 

Alternate Challenge: We also have an Alternate Challenge. If you have created a project using our 3-2-1 Recipe, "A Special Day," and have included flowers, you can enter your project at Beautiful Blossoms 'Anything Florals Goes with Optional Mood Board #40' until their closing date of May 12th and earn another chance in our random drawing. 

When using TSOT and/or our Alternate Challenges, please include the Challenge name(s) next to the DTC link in your post so you are eligible for the additional chances in our random drawing.

Here is Thing 1's 3-2-1 Recipe - "Let's Make This Air-mazing"

THING 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "April brings longer, warmer days and spending more time outdoors. It was a very busy time for my mom with spring cleaning, and she frequently would say, 'Go fly a kite, I'm busy.' We were eager to get outside to celebrate National Kite Month, only to learn there were no kites in our garage.

"So let's not string this out further, but rather, let's go fly our kites together by creating an air-mazing project, for any occasion, using the ingredients from our 3-2-1 recipe above."

THING 3:  Twisted Sister
says, "It's no wonder Trouble Maker tells me often to 'Go fly a kite' but never provides me with a kite. How annoying is that? So annoying that I say, 'Up, up, and away'. My optional twist is to include a kite or other flying element, i.e., birds, bees, butterflies, aircraft, balloons (any type)."

If you have included my optional twist in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Drawing. 



THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "Click on my clipart to the left for a sneak peek of the sketch from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #693. My optional dare is to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe, 'Let's Make This Air-mazing'. If you do, you will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing.

says, "Here comes Peter Cottontail, Hopping down the Bunny Trail, Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way. This might be a good time to finish your Easter projects, but that doesn't mean you have to... All you need to do is stir up some trouble in the Double Trouble Kitchen and create a project for any occasion using our 3-2-1 recipe above. 

So let's get crafting... grab your scissors or break out your paper trimmer and dies, and get creative with the supplies in your stash. Use your creativity to inspire us with your own Custom 3-2-1 Recipe.

says, "I love Easter so much, it's not even bunny. I can't wait to shell-ebrate. Who else is egg-cited for Easter? 

Oh, for Peeps sake, put on your Easter bonnet and hop to it.  My optional twist is to include at least one Easter element you would typically find on a bonnet or in a basket, i.e., flowers, bow, egg, bunny, candy, Peeps, etc. or just a bonnet or basket.  

If you have included my optional twist in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Drawing.

THING 2:  Double Dare

ALTERNATE Challenge: If you already have a preferred challenge and you have combined your own Custom 3-2-1 Recipe with a second challenge, you can consider that an Alternate Challenge and earn another chance in our Random Drawing.
