THING 1: Trouble Maker

says, "SURPRISE... For our fifth Monday of the month, we are opening this challenge three days early, on Friday, August 28th, and will close on Sunday evening, September 6th." 

It's time again to grab your bone folder and other crafty stuff and create something new. We think this is easier than folding a fitted sheet! It's time to use the stuff' you have in your stash (new and/or old).

THING 3:  Twisted Sister

says, "September 1st is Emma M. Nutt Day. In 1878, she became the world's first woman telephone operator. I'm a nut for Emma Nutt so let's honor her by including a telephone on your project. Click HERE for some trivia on Emma M. Nutt.  



"And let's not forget about another popular telephone operator, 'Ernestine' (played by Lily Tomlin).  Remember "one ringy dingy... two ringy dingy" and, "Is this the party to whom I am speaking?"  Click HERE to enjoy one of her many popular skits.

says, "You make me happy when skies are grey, so let's make someone happy with a Kindness or Friendship project, i.e., Get Well, Thinking of You, Thank You, etc.).  NO Birthday, Holiday or Celebration projects."

says, "Let's start with using any shade of grey and then brighten the day with your choice of TWO additional colors... and NO cheating with more than two additional colors. You are free to use black, white, and silver."

says, "We're midway into the Dog Days of Summer, also known as the hot, humid, unbearable summer days 'not fit for a dog' or 'while dogs are panting from the heat'."

So... If you want to Beat the Heat use Dry Embossing; or if you want to Beat the Cold use Heat Embossing; or use both... it's your choice.
