WELCOME to Challenge #144  - Let the Troubles Begin! 
This Challenge runs from 
Friday, July 28th thru Sunday, August 13th 
"Woody"  

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker 
says, "My recent Sunday drive took me to the farm country where we observed herds of cows and other farm animals. But forget the farm animals! I was not only quite taken by the farmer's market but also the old wooden barns, split-rail fences, and long-forgotten wagons. I noticed the aged woodgrain texture with the peeling paint so I thought that a woodgrain element would be a perfect reminder of my Sunday outing. Check your stash for embossing folders, stamps, patterned papers, etc., and include woodgrain in your project."

Thing 3:  Twisted Sister 
says, "Hey, Trouble Maker! What do you mean, 'Forget the farm animals?'  We have 'Wiggle Your Toes Day' in August so take off your shoes and give your 'Five Little Piggies' a break and no crying, 'Wee, wee, wee,' all the way home. Wee want you to show us at least one happy little piggy in your project."

Optional Twist:  If you have included at least one piggy in your project you will earn another chance in our random drawing.  




Thing 2:  Double Dare 
says, "If you have used woodgrain in your project and have included a piggy in your project, you are eligible to enter your project HERE  for Farm Quest Challenge #33 Pig(s)."

This Challenge runs from 
Thursday, July 14 thru Thursday, July 27th  
"Christmas in July"  


THING 1:  Trouble Maker 
says, "Join us once again for Christmas in July, a fun, and perhaps silly, commemoration of the traditional winter holiday but in the typically warm and sunny month of July. There is no one way to celebrate Christmas in July, but there are a few steps to follow if you intend on having a holly jolly time the Papercrafter's way.

"Why not invite your family and friends into your home for a Christmas Paper Crafting Party? First, seek out a not-too-ugly Christmas sweater or comfy jammies, a Santa hat, and a favorite Christmas drink (hot or cold). Next, head to the craft room, pull out your Christmas Stash, and turn on your radio or click HERE and listen to Christmas carols while creating a Christmas project (cards, tags, ornaments, scrapbook memories, bookmarks, boxes, etc.)."

THING 3:  Twisted Sister 
says, "Phew! Those stars and stripes were a challenge! So here's a switch to my twist on this challenge. You had 'Better Not Pout' - and stay 'Jolly By Golly'  because 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town'. You can help to keep this challenge 'Merry and Bright' by being 'Santa's Helper' and including at least one Santa Claus hat in your project. We suggest you look through your stash for patterned papers, dies, stencils, and stamps to create your hat. Consider the possibilities - you could even place Santa's hat on a person or critter if you wish."


Optional Twist:  If you have included Santa's hat on your project you will have earned another chance in our random drawing. 

THING 2:  Double Dare 
says, "If you have created a Christmas CARD and have included Santa's hat you are eligible to enter your project HERE  at Jingle Belle's Challenge 'Santa's Hat' and you will have earned another chance in our random drawing.  

Special Notes:  Jingle Belles "The Santa's Hat" Challenge will wrap up at 6pm (Eastern) on Wednesday, July 26th; however Double Trouble will be open an additional day, closing Thursday, July 27th at 9 pm MST time (EDT time 6 pm).
