Before we go to the February Challenges, please note our 
temporary change in Challenges will start on Fridays. 
Unfortunately, we have lost some of our Monday partners and have temporarily changed our own start dates for February/March challenges to Friday start dates.

WELCOME to Challenge #158  - Let the Troubles Begin! 
This Challenge runs from 
Monday, January 29th thru Sunday, February 4th 
"SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing"  


THING  1:  Trouble Maker 
says, " It's time again to grab your bone folder and other crafty stuff and create something new. We think this is easier than folding a fitted sheet! It's time to use the stuff you have in your stash (new and/or old) for our one-week special of SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing (aka AnyThing Goes)."

OR, you can choose to include Twisted Sister's Optional Twist below to earn additional chances in our random drawing.




THING  3:  Twisted Sister 
says, "National Kazoo Day was January 28th and is special to me. Such a fun musical instrument for someone who can't carry a tune in a basket. But, boy! Could I play the Kazoo...  and I feel a song coming on! For my optional twist... let's see your best effort to use something musical in your project, i.e., instruments, sheet music, musical notes, etc., using dies, embossing, stamps, etc. -  you name it - or sing it."

Optional Twist:  If you have included music in your project you will earn another chance in our random drawing.




THING  2:  Double Dare 
says, "I dare you to multiply the fun by linking your project with any previous partner(s) listed below. You will qualify for extra chances in our random drawing.

"Make sure you read their guidelines carefully and observe their dates. We don't want you to get into trouble."

This means each time you link to a previous partner with the same card, you gain an additional chance. Please identify each of them in your blog along with our Double Trouble link.

This Challenge runs from 
Monday, January 14th thru Saturday, January 27th
"That Wintry Country Feeling" 


THING  1:  Trouble Maker 
says, "It's Wintertime and I'm just chillin' so I don't want to make things complicated. That's why I'm asking you to pull embossing folders and/or stencils from your stash to create a project with that wintry country feeling."

THING  3:  Twisted Sister 
says, "Remember the song, "Playmate, Come Out and Play with Me"?  If you come out and play with me, be ready to enjoy skiing, sledding, sleigh riding, tobogganing, or skating. My optional twist is to include one of these winter sports in your project to earn an additional chance in our random drawing.   

"And let's not forget National Hat Day is January 15th. This is a fun observance when you wear and enjoy any hat of your choice and style. If you also include a hat in your project we have a 'January Special' for you - a second random drawing in addition to our usual one." 



THING  2:  Double Dare 
says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement to create a wintry theme and have included a winter sport, you are eligible to enter your project HERE at Farm Quest Challenge #44 and you will qualify for an additional chance in our random drawing."                   

January Special:  While not a requirement don't forget if you have included a hat in your project you are eligible for our 'January Special' - another drawing in addition to our usual random drawing.

Winner Post for Challenge #156 "Background Personality" Delayed

There will be a delay in the posting of winners for Challenge #156.  Our Inlinkz data for Challenge #156 "Background Personality"  has been lost. Due to a program change, Inlinkz no longer provides this information resulting in an inability for us to recover vital information about participating entrants. 

For those of you who shared projects as part of our Double Trouble Challenge, we have gathered information from the TSOT Challenge #638.

For those who did not link projects at TSOT #638, we have now added a separate Inlinkz and re-entered all but four entries from three participants. Two of these were from Renata S. (a new participant), one from a person who used only the caption Happy New Year, and Nicole G. (photo only without a link).

The new Inlinkz is HERE.

We are leaving this new link open until Friday, January 19th for Renate S, Happy New Year, and Nicole G. to have an opportunity to add their original entries for Challenge #156. It is our hope to recover all 41 participants to this challenge so we can proceed with our voting process and the random drawing.

WELCOME to Challenge #156  - Let the Troubles Begin! 
This Challenge runs from 
Monday, January 1st  thru Sunday, January 14th 
"BACKGROUND PERSONALITY" 


Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "We're right on time to observe World Introvert Day in January. Even though this is a day to promote awareness about being an introvert we want extroverts to be included too. As an Introvert you will find me in the BACKGROUND at a party, wishing it would soon end.

Whether you're an Introvert or Extrovert we can all have fun with a BACKGROUND. As an Introvert I gravitate toward 'Calm, Soft, Pastel', while my Twisted Sister, an Extrovert, gravitates to 'Loud, Bold, Bright'. Our requirement is to create a project to show us your personality through one of these two background choices.

And to be fair here, whether you are an Introvert or an Extrovert, we are giving away two randomly drawn prizes, one in each category."  

Thing 3: Twisted Sister
says, "Hey! Have I got a twist for you! I think it would be fun to use this sketch from our sister challenge at Try a Sketch On Tuesday Challenge #638. 

This sketch is perfect for either background. My optional twist is to use Sketch #638 for an additional chance in our random drawing.

"Feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image. Be sure to include a sentiment, and you may vary the shapes as long as the basic sketch is recognizable in your project." 


Thing 2: Double Dare
says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement, either a Soft & Pastel or Bold and Bright BACKGROUND, and have used the TSOT sketch, you are eligible to enter your project HERE at Try a Sketch On Tuesday Challenge #638  for another chance in our random drawing.
