PAPERS AND CARDSTOCK

PAPER - KRAFT OR KRAFT-LIKE
Kraft paper, Kraft-colored cardstock, patterned Kraft paper packets, brown paper bag, coffee sleeve, or any product made from Kraft-like paper in your project. Kraft can be used in any of these categories and is a perfect accompaniment to many combinations of colors and/or patterns.

PAPERS - DESIGNER/PATTERNED
A type of decorative paper, often sold in pads or paper packets with a wide range of designs like florals, stripes, dots, geometric patterns. Many patterned papers are double-sided and complement each other for coordinating colors. Patterned papers are used to add visual interest and texture to handmade cards by incorporating it as a background, layer, or accent element. The ingredient quanity determines how many different patterns are required.

PAPERS - CUSTOM DESIGN/PATTERNED
Custom patterned papers can be made using small stamps repeatedly to create a pattern. You can use a single ink color or multiple colors for a more vibrant design. To make it look professional, allow the stamps on the edges to hang off the cardstock, giving the impression of a continuous pattern. Use as background and/or panels in cardmaking.

PAPERS - DIGITAL PATTERNS
In addition to regular patterned papers, you can use digital papers, provided they are printed on paper and used on a physical hand-held, paper-crafted item that a person would typically place in an envelope.

FOILING:
A decorative technique that adds a touch of elegance and shine to handmade cards. It involves applying a thin layer of metallic or holographic foil to specific areas of the card design, creating a stunning and reflective effect. Foiling can be used to highlight sentiments, embellishments, patterns, or entire card backgrounds, and it's a popular choice for creating cards with a luxurious and sophisticated appearance.

Several methods of adding foil are available, but special attachments for digital die-cutting machines, foiling pens, or machines specifically designed for hot foiling are also available.
