The spotlight technique in cardmaking involves highlighting a specific portion of a stamped image. You can use a background stamp, florals and other theme stamps, masking, embossing folder, and/or Black & White patterned paper. Then using colors and frame to draw attention to a particular detail. It's a way to add focus to a card without needing to color in the entire image, making it a great option for detailed stamps or for cards where you want a specific element to stand out.
These are 2-20 minute tutorials for Spotlight techniques. You don't need to use the products displayed, simply choose stuff from your stash and let us see your creativity.
