WELCOME to Challenge #201 - Let the Troubles Begin!
This Challenge runs from
Monday, Sept 29th thru Sunday, Oct 12th
"3-2-1 Recipe - SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing"

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "It’s Fall, y’all!  Your turn to create your own 3-2-1 Recipe and stir up some trouble in Double Trouble's 3-2-1 Kitchen by creating a project for any occasion.  
                          
"So let's get crafting... grab your scissors or break out your paper trimmer and dies, and get creative with the supplies in your stash. Use your creativity to inspire us with your own custom 3-2-1 Recipe. Then tell us what items you picked from your stash for the 3 and 2 ingredient quantities. The quantity of 1 can be anything else from your stash."
                          
3-2-1- Recipe "SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing"
Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun
Ingredients - You Pick:  
     3  of SomeThing from your stash   
     2  of AnyThing from your stash
     1  of Everything else from your stash 

Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you can enhance your project and use more than the ingredients stipulated. 

You can stop here... 
OR  
play along with Thing 3's optional twist and/or consider Thing 2's optional dare to use the sketch from our sister challenge and earn additional chances in our random drawing. 


Thing 3:  Twisted Sister 
says, "Well, most of you know my specialty... I usually provide you with an optional twist, but I'm simply sayin' that if you complete Double Dare's dare to use TSOT Sketch Challenge below and have used your own Custom 3-2-1 recipe, you will earn TWO chances in our random drawing." 





Thing 2:  Double Dare
says "Click on my clipart to the left to see the sneak peek of the Sketch Challenge from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #680.  My optional dare is to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe, 'SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing'. If you do, you will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing.  

"Please note TSOT starts Tuesday, Sept 30th, so this sneak peek gives you the day before to create; but remember... to prevent backlinking, your project should not be posted, published or entered before Sept 30th in Try a Sketch On Tuesday #680.  

Alternate:  If you already have a preferred challenge and you have combined your own Custom 3-2-1 Recipe with a second challenge, you can consider that an Alternate Challenge and earn another chance in our Random Drawing. 

Special Notes: When using the TSOT sketch and/or the Alternate Challenge, please enter your project(s) and include TSOT's name and/or your preferred Alternate's name next to the DTC link in your post to be eligible for the extra chances in our random drawing.

Challenge #200 3-2-1 Recipe "Oodles of Doodles"


Rather than using a link and having to scroll

through the 3-2-1 Guidelines Tab, we have 

incorporated the following change.


To determine the ingredient's purpose and what crafting materials are acceptable, we are providing a direct link to the ingredient icon. 

Simply click on the ingredient in Thing 1's 3-2-1 Recipe. 


These icons are for reference. If the current challenge ingredient includes a specific requirement then that takes priority 

over the general ingredient description.

"3-2-1 Recipe - "Oodles of Doodles" 


Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "National Doodle Day is coming up at the end of the month. How often have you been on a phone call, Zoom session or meeting, with a pencil in hand, and you start doodling? Drawing doodles is like eating potato chips - I can’t stop at just one. I'm never sure what I'm going to doodle, but I'm sure it will be interesting. The key is to have fun and let your creativity flow." 

Click HERE for links to various doodle art and a new doodling technique using patterned paper. The hand-drawn doodles can also inspire you to look for stamps in your stash with similar doodle-like images.  

"What do you call a group of doodlers? A draw-some party! So let’s join the party and create oodles of doodles using all the ingredients from our 3-2-1 recipe below."

Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun

If you have included my optional twist in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Draw.     





THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "Click on my clipart to the left to see the sneak peek of our Sketch from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #679.  My optional dare is to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe, 'Oodles of Doodles'. If you do, you will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing.

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Sept 14th is National Cream-Filled Donut Day, a sugary, sweet day. Donut-cha just love special days like this filled with deliciousness?  I'm heading to my favorite sweet shop to pick up a donut or two. 

"Join me in celebrating a 'sweet surprise' by telling us about your favorite donut and/or filling. Add it to the comments below, and you will be eligible for an additional randomly drawn prize with entry to our challenge. 

"Now, off to your crafting space to  stir up some trouble in the Double Trouble Kitchen to create a project using all the ingredients from our 3-2-1 Recipe below."

THING 3:  Twisted Sister   
says, "Trouble Maker, did you know National Chocolate Milkshake Day is Sept 12th? I love shakes and chocolate is my favorite flavor; it goes so well with a chocolate frosted cream-filled donut.  

I donut want to tell you how to fill your donut, so my optional twist is to enhance and fill the required aperture in one of two ways... It's your choice:
1. Fill in your aperture with at least one of your images from the 3-2-1 recipe, or an additional image of your choice.  

AND/OR shake it up a bit 
2. Make a shaker and add your favorite shaker bits.

If you have included my optional twist in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Draw.
