We are looking for talented crafters who love to share their joy of paper crafting with others. You do not have to have experience as a Design Team member but we would prefer you have a Blog.

WELCOME to Challenge #194 - Let the Troubles Begin!
This Challenge runs from
Monday, June 23rd thru Sunday, July 6th
"3-2-1 Recipe - "Summer Fun Fold" 


Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
"Summer is here! Celebrations are in order. The Fourth of July and Canada Day are not far away. We're going to have some 'Fun'... and we're not going to 'Fold' because of the sizzling hot, humid days of summer. Hey! Put 'Fun' and 'Fold' together and we have a 'Fun Fold'.  

"Let's celebrate and stir up some trouble in Double Trouble's Kitchen and create your special event using all the ingredients from our 3-2-1 Recipe below." 

3-2-1- Recipe "Summer Fun Fold"
Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun
Ingredients:  
     3  Colors: Red, White + One Other Color 
     2  Shapes 
     1  Fun Fold

Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you can enhance your project and use more than the ingredients stipulated.  If you are unsure of the ingredient description, click HERE for additional details on that ingredient, which may answer your question.

play along with Thing 3's optional twist and/or consider Thing 2's optional dare and earn additional chances in our random drawing. 

THING 3:  Twisted Sister 
says, "I love fireworks!  Do you know why fireworks go to school? To gain more 'POP-ularity'! Fireworks are a great way to celebrate. My optional twist is for you to add fireworks or glitter or sparkle to your project to show your 'POP-ularity'."

If you have included my optional twist in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Drawing.         


THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "Click on my clipart to the left to see the sneak peek of the sketch from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #673.  I dare you to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe, 'Summer Fun Fold'. You will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing if you do.

"Please note TSOT starts on June 24th, so this sneak peek gives you the day before to create; but remember... to prevent backlinking, your project should not be posted, published, or entered before June 24th in Try a Sketch On Tuesday #673 HERE."  

We also have an Alternate Challenge.  Creative Creases "Anything Goes Fun Fold" is a monthly challenge starting on the 1st Friday of each month and ending the Thursday before their next challenge begins. Use the links below according to your post date for your Fun Fold entry:

This Challenge runs from
Monday, June 9th thru Sunday, June 22nd
"3-2-1 Recipe "My Guy" 


Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Sunday, June 15th is a great time to honor your Dad or someone special who has had a significant impact on your life, but your project doesn't have to be for Father's Day... any occasion for your favorite guy is acceptable. 

Let's celebrate and stir up some trouble in Double Trouble's Kitchen and create a project using all the ingredients from our 3-2-1 Recipe below." 
                          
3-2-1- Recipe "My Guy"  
Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun
Ingredients:  
   3  Layers - Does not include card base
   2  Different patterned papers 
   1  Kraft or color similar to Kraft

Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you can enhance your project and use more than the ingredients stipulated.  If you are unsure of the ingredient description, click HERE for additional details on that ingredient, which may answer your question.

play along with Thing 3's optional twist and/or consider Thing 2's optional dare to use our sister's sketch challenge and earn additional chances in our random drawing. 

THING 3:  Twisted Sister 
says, "I'm tapping my feet while humming the song, 'My Guy'... It's such a catchy tune.   My guy likes camping, and there are many elements for a card, like a campfire, canoe, grill, tent, fishing, etc. But that's my guy... what about your guy's favorite activity or sport?  My optional twist is to use any element representing how he enjoys spending time. Be sure to mention it in your post." 

If you have included an element for Your Guy in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Draw.         



THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "Click on my clipart to the left to see the sneak peek of our sketch from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #672. I dare you to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe, 'My Guy'. You will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing if you do.

"3-2-1 Recipe - "Sun Fun" 

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "National Sunscreen Day, also known as Don't Fry Day, occurs annually on May 27th, reminding us to stay sun-safe as we enjoy the days of summer. It's time to use sunscreen for fun in the sun, or you can stay in your craft room, sun-safe, and let the summer breezes inspire you. 

Let's celebrate and stir up some trouble in Double Trouble's Kitchen by creating a 'Sun Fun' project using the ingredients from our 3-2-1 Recipe below." 
                          
3-2-1- Recipe "Sun Fun"
Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun
Ingredients:  
     3  Torn Edges    
     2  Colors 
     1  Die-Cut, Punched, or Ephemera Item   

Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you can enhance your project and use more than the ingredients stipulated.  If you are unsure of the ingredient description, click HERE for additional details on that ingredient, and this may answer your question.
