Click HERE for an introduction to our challenge
and HERE for complete guidelines.
Please take the time to read the information so you don't get into trouble.
Consider becoming a follower and using our participant badge or any photo from our current challenge for your blog posting.

WELCOME to Challenge #59 -
Let the Troubles Begin

"3-2-1 Recipe"

THING 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Help us stir up some trouble with a 3-2-1 Recipe that can be used for any occasion."
From: Our Kitchen at Double Trouble
     Servings: Unlimited portions of Fun
     Ingredients:  3 - Colors
                           2 - Embellishments
                           1 - Seasoned Stamped/Digital Sentiment
(clear or rubber stamp more than
                                one year old)

Directions: You may use more than the recipe ingredients stipulated but you must include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results.  And don't forget to identify the year of your seasoned stamp/digital in your post.

You can stop here...
OR you can stir it up with Twisted Sister's optional sketch below to enhance the Recipe to earn an extra chance at the random draw.

THING 3:  Twisted Sister
says, "Let's get straight to the point. From my point of view, I see a sketch with sharp angles so here's MY angle: Using the sketch, create a project using at least one angular shape without round corners, i.e., triangles, quadrilaterals such as square, rectangle, parallelogram, rhombus, etc.  That's my angle and I'm sticking to it!"

Feel free to change the orientation... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image.

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

THING 2:  Double Dare
says, "If you have created a project using the Retro Rubber's Sketch #137 above and Trouble Maker's  3-2-1 Recipe with a "seasoned" stamp... link your project HERE . You will receive an additional chance at the Double Trouble Random Draw."

Retro Rubber Challenge will not become live until Tuesday, June 16th.  If you have submitted your project to Double Trouble on Monday, you can enter your project, even though backlinked, on Tuesday in Retro Rubber.

Challenge #54 - It's Hip to be a Square" and Pair with a Previous Partner

Click HERE for an introduction to our challenge
and HERE for complete guidelines.
Please take the time to read the information so you don't get into trouble.
Consider becoming a follower and use our participant badge or any photo from our current challenge for your blog posting.

WELCOME to Challenge #54 -
Let the Troubles Begin

"It's Hip to be a SQUARE"

THING 1: Trouble Maker

says, "Click It's Hip to Be a Square to sing and play along with Grover and Friends from Sesame Street. I wonder... how many squares are out there? Make a square card, scrapbook page, gift box or other square creation... OR use patterned papers, stencils or embossing folders that have squares. The more squares, the more hip you are. You can use other shapes but we must be able to see at least one square on your project."

You can stop here...
OR, you can choose to include Twisted Sister's Optional Twist below to earn additional chances at our random draw.

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "I'm Hip but not necessarily Square. Since many of us, like me, have organized craft rooms (haha), select one of your older stamp sets (no digis) that you have not used in a year or more for your project.  Please don't make us guess... add the approximate year to your blog post with the link to our challenge.

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

THING 2: Double Dare
says, "Sometimes stuff just happens and things get crazy. Our challenge partner has notified us that their team is unavailable to participate as planned. But we are remaining "hip" and upbeat! So we'll stand up, "square" our shoulders and ask you to participate in the same manner as you do for Something, Anything, Everything challenges. In other words, link your project to one of our previous partners listed below for another chance at the Random Prize.

Challenge #32 "Christmas In July - Something Square" with Retro Rubber Stamp "Use Old Stamp"

Click HERE for an introduction to our challenge and HERE for complete guidelines.
Please take time to read so you don't get into trouble. Consider becoming a follower and use our participant badge or any photo from our current challenge for your blog posting.
Check out our Secret Sister's special gift in the guidelines.

WELCOME to Challenge #32
Let the Troubles Begin

"Be Square - Christmas in July"

THING 1: Double Trouble
says, "Have some fun and help us celebrate Christmas in July while singing along with Bing Crosby to the Hawaiian Christmas Song Mele Kalikimaka for inspiration." Make a square card, scrapbook page, gift box or use squares on your project.

If you use a stamp that is at least one year old (rubber or acrylic) you can also play along with Thing 2 who Double Dares you to join in at Retro Rubber Challenge below.  Digital images are not acceptable.

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "In July, Santa likes to hang 10 at the North Shore rather than the North Pole."

If you create a beach scene with Santa you can earn an extra chance to our random draw.

This is an optional fun twist and we would love to see how you think Santa spends his time at the North Shore.

THING 2: Double Dare
dares you to use a rubber or acrylic stamp older than one year and since you already have your Christmas theme, you can enter Retro Rubber Challenge #114.  Unfortunately Retro Rubber challenge ends on Friday, July 12th, so get your project in early to enter.  However, if you use stamps more than a year old and let us know in  your post, Double Trouble will still honor it as an entry and it will still qualify for another chance to our Random Draw.

Must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. After all – Retro wants to give these old stamps some love!
