There are several parts to this challenge,
but the only requirement is to play along with Thing 1.
We encourage you to add some fun... try our optional twists by participating in
Twisted Sister's Thing 3 and/or Double Dare's Thing 2
to earn additional chances in our random draw.

This Challenge runs from Monday, Feb 6th thru Sunday, Feb 19th
"Love Is in the Air"

Thing 1: Trouble Maker

says, "I recently heard an old song, Love Is in the Air, and it reminded me that February is considered the month for love, and Valentine's Day is approaching. What fun to create a project expressing love. Valentine's Day is one of the most popular holidays for expressing this to someone special.

In addition to Valentine's Day, we'd like to see other ideas for Love Is in the Air - maybe birds, sunshine, butterflies, dragonflies, bees, clouds, balloons, or even a parachute! Perhaps the song will provide inspiration for your project."

Thing 3: Twisted Sister

says, "My optional twist is to simply use the TSOT Sketch along with Trouble Maker's theme, 'Love Is in the Air'. It's fun and easy. Use Design Team's cards for ideas or your own interpretation to create your project from the sketch."

Feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image. You may not only modify the retangular shapes with other shapes (ovals, squares, etc.) but also substitute the existing heart with another shape, image or embellishment as long as the basic sketch is visible in your project.

Optional Twist: If you opted to use this sketch you have earned another chance in our Random Draw.

Thing 2: Double Trouble

says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement "Love Is in the Air" and have followed the guidelines for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #593 then you are eligible to enter your project HERE for another chance in the Double Trouble Random Drawing." AND, It's TSOT's 12th anniversary and in celebration they are giving away two small gifts by random draw to their followers.

Special Notes: Please note that Try Stampin' on Tuesday starts on Tuesday, Feb 7th. If you post your project at Double Trouble on Monday, the 6th, you are still eligible to enter your project at TSOT. You are permitted to backlink for that Monday only. So be sure to visit again on Tuesday so you can post your card to the TSOT Challenge using the link provided above.

This Challenge runs Monday, January 17th - Sunday, January 30th

"Mix 'Em Up w/Three Patterned Papers"

Thing 1: Trouble Maker

says, "It's Winter and I'm just chillin' so I don't want to make things complicated. That's why I'm asking you to use three patterned papers - just "Mix 'Em Up"! It's that simple... that's all you need.

"IF you want to be a little ambitious and boost your creativity, our partner has this sketch that is perfect for using patterned papers. Feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image. IF you use this sketch you will receive a chance at our random draw."

In Summary:

1. Thing 1 Requirement: Three patterned papers MUST be used in your project.
2. Optional: It's your choice to use the TSOT sketch above.

Thing 3: Twisted Sister

says, "January 20th is World Penguin Awareness Day! I'm also chillin', but not with Trouble Maker. I'm chillin' with the penguins. So for my optional twist, let's waddle with a clumsy swaying motion and include a "penguin in your project."

Thing 2: Double Trouble
says, "If you have included three patterned papers and used Try Stampin' on Tuesday's Sketch for Challenge #539, you may link your project HERE. And if you have used Twisted Sister's optional twist to 'include a penguin' you have also met their optional theme, Winter Wonder.

"Please note that Try Stampin' on Tuesday starts on Tuesday, November 16th. If you post your project at Double Trouble on Monday, the 15th, you are still eligible to enter your project at TSOT. We are permitted to backlink for that Monday only... so be sure to visit again on Tuesday so you can post your card to the TSOT Challenge using the link provided above."

"It's Hip to Be a Square"

Thing 1: Trouble Maker

says, "Twisted Sister has often referred to me as being square and I tell her 'It's Hip to Be a Square'. She tells me it's better to be a circle because it's cool and groovy. We are asking you to use squares or circles or a combination of both and let us know whether you are square, groovy, or both.

Talking about squares and circles, our partner for this challenge has a great sketch you may want to use for your squares, or modify by using a mix of squares and circles as long as the basic sketch is visible in your project and you will receive another chance at our random draw. You may also feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image.

AND/OR

play along with Twisted Sister's optional twist below to earn another chance at our random draw.

Thing 3: Twisted Sister

says, "Trouble Maker, since you're the, ummm, Boss, you need to know I have been spinning in circles looking for an optional twist. Oh, wait, there it is! Ummm, Boss... Emboss! Let's include ummm-bossing on our project.

It's hot and dry here in Arizona... So if you want to Beat the Heat use Dry Embossing; or if you want to Beat the Cold use Heat Embossing; or use both... it's your choice.

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

Thing 2: Double Dare

says, "If you have used Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch #512 you are eligible to enter your project even if you have or have not used our optional twist to include embossing. Click HERE to enter.

Please note that Try Stampin' on Tuesday starts on Tuesday, June 21st... so, if you post your project at Double Trouble on Monday, June 20th, you are still eligible to enter your project. They have permitted us to backlink for that Monday only... so be sure to visit us again on Tuesday so you can post your card to the TSOT CHallenge using the link provided above.

"KAZOO-A-LONG"

THING 1: Trouble Make

says, "National Kazoo Day is January 28th and special to me. Such a fun musical instrument for someone who can't carry a tune in a basket, but, Boy! Could I play the Kazoo... 'I feel a song coming on'! You may want to sing along with Dean Martin while you are creating your project. In celebration of Kazoo Day, let's see your best effort to use music in your project, i.e., instruments, sheet music, musical notes, etc. with paper, dies, embossing, stamps - you name it or sing it."

OR, you may OPT to use this sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #490 below - or not. However, it's an excellent sketch in which to incorporate the music theme. Feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image.

TRIVIA: The original Kazoo Factory was close to my home and kazoos were gifted many times. Family, neighbors, and friends joined in Kazoo-a-longs, parades, and campfire fun. Click on Kazoo Factory for history.

THING 3: Twisted Sister

says, "What's a Ka-Zoo? I bet it's a place to see a

Ka-ngaroo or a Ka-oala Bear, or a Ka-kapo... so I'm going to the Ka-Zoo." What child doesn't like to visit a Zoo... great for a birthday card or scrapbook layout... let's see what you create.

The optional twist is to include any zoo animal within our musical theme and earn another chance for the Random Draw.

THING 2: Double Dare

says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement to "KaZoo-a-long" with our music theme and have used the Try Stampin' on Tuesday #490 Sketch, you are eligible to enter your project at Try Stampin' on Tuesday HERE, even if you have not included a Zoo animal.

If you have entered your musical theme card on Monday at Double Trouble and used their sketch you are still eligible to enter your card on Tuesday at Try Stampin' on Tuesday.

If you enter their challenge you get another chance for the random draw prize.
