"Christmas in July"

Thing 1: Trouble Maker

says, "If you can answer "Yes" to both of these questions this challenge is for you.

1. Have you, or are you ready, to start your Christmas cards for 2021?
2. Do you have a stash of Christmas supplies?

Well, I'm guessing a lot of you have answered "Yes"... so let's create some Christmas projects from items tucked away in your stash. You'll be surprised by all the pretty papers, dies and stamps you have not yet used or may have forgotten. Take advantage of the time, before any new stuff arrives, and get a head start on Christmas. We're eager to see what you pull out of your stash."

you can choose to include Twisted Sister's Optional Twist and/or Double Dare's Dare.

THING 3: Twisted Sister

says, "It's time to Tie It Up! Include a ribbon and/or bow anywhere on your project, e.g. using ribbon, twine, die, stamp, digital image, design paper, etc."

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

Don't stop here...

you are eligible to enter Double Dare's Dare below.

Thing 2: Double Dare

says, "If you have created a Christmas project, with or without Twisted Sister's Optional Twist, you can enter HERE at Heart2Heart's Christmas in July.

Heart2Heart encourages the use of at least one Close To My Heart product, but for this theme challenge only they have waived this requirement. However, if you do use any CTMH products Double Dare will give you another chance at our random draw. Don't keep us guessing... include in your post the CTMH products you used."

Heart2Heart has theme challenges that begin on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month and are open through the last day of the month, so make sure you get your entry in by July 31st.

"Mood Board - Oh Baby"

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "July 12th is 'National Simplicity Day', which promotes the concept of eliminating unnecessary clutter in our lives and the idea that less is more. As liberating as this may seem clutter is an accepted way of life when you have babies... but we decided to keep it simple.

"Simply use this Mood Board for inspiration and create a project for a Gift Card, First Birthday, Invitation, Congratulations, Announcement, Thank You Note, Scrapbook page, etc."

Thing 3: Twisted Sister says, "What! Eliminate clutter? Does that mean I have to scrap my scrapbook space? I don't think so!

"My stash is essential and dies are important to challenges. Let's use at least one die or machine-made cut in creating your project. Don't be afraid to use more than one, e.g., frames, sentiments, objects, borders, etc."

If you have elected to use the optional twist in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Draw and you can join Double Dare's Dare.

Thing 2: Double Dare

says, "Bitten by the Bug 2 is a challenge that usually requires the inclusion of a cut from a Cricut machine, however, we CUT a little Baby Die'al with them."

For this challenge only, our partner is accepting the use of cut items from punches, dies, and any cutting machine, but NO fussy-cutting! You need to have a baby project and use Twisted Sister's optional twist to enter HERE at Bitten by The Bug 2 "Baby".

If you entered here you have earned an additional chance at the Double Trouble Random Draw.

If you have used a Cricut cut (Silhouette, Brother ScanNCut, or another similar cutting device) you will get another chance at the random draw; but don't keep us guessing, let us know in your post what cutting machine you used.

"It's Hip to Be a Square"

Thing 1: Trouble Maker

says, "Twisted Sister has often referred to me as being square and I tell her 'It's Hip to Be a Square'. She tells me it's better to be a circle because it's cool and groovy. We are asking you to use squares or circles or a combination of both and let us know whether you are square, groovy, or both.

Talking about squares and circles, our partner for this challenge has a great sketch you may want to use for your squares, or modify by using a mix of squares and circles as long as the basic sketch is visible in your project and you will receive another chance at our random draw. You may also feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image.

AND/OR

play along with Twisted Sister's optional twist below to earn another chance at our random draw.

Thing 3: Twisted Sister

says, "Trouble Maker, since you're the, ummm, Boss, you need to know I have been spinning in circles looking for an optional twist. Oh, wait, there it is! Ummm, Boss... Emboss! Let's include ummm-bossing on our project.

It's hot and dry here in Arizona... So if you want to Beat the Heat use Dry Embossing; or if you want to Beat the Cold use Heat Embossing; or use both... it's your choice.

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

Thing 2: Double Dare

says, "If you have used Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch #512 you are eligible to enter your project even if you have or have not used our optional twist to include embossing. Click HERE to enter.

Please note that Try Stampin' on Tuesday starts on Tuesday, June 21st... so, if you post your project at Double Trouble on Monday, June 20th, you are still eligible to enter your project. They have permitted us to backlink for that Monday only... so be sure to visit us again on Tuesday so you can post your card to the TSOT CHallenge using the link provided above.
