This Challenge runs from 

Monday, April 15th - thru Sunday, April 28th  

"CAS ~ Less but Better"  

THING  1:  Trouble Maker 

says, "Oh my gosh, my income tax filing was submitted today and fortunately, mine was clean and simple. Let's take that idea and create a Clean and Simple (CAS) project. To assist you with the CAS requirement, here is what we're looking for.  

1. Leave plenty of open uncluttered white or "blank" space. 

2. Layers and embellishments are optional but should be minimal.

3. Make it clean, make it simple, make it fun! 

If you need help with your CAS project click  HERE to view a tutorial of five techniques. But if you feel confident about creating CAS, then go for it!"

THING  3:  Twisted Sister 

says, "I wish my tax filing were clean and simple! It seems as if there is always something else I need to think about and right now I'm thinking color. My optional twist is to fill that white cardstock with any color you choose. That's right - ANY color! Just remember to leave plenty of open uncluttered space.  We look forward to seeing your ideas to use color for the blank space instead of white, keeping it CAS. So use your imagination, and play along."

If you have replaced the white/blank space with color, your project will earn you another chance in our random drawing.  

THING  2:  Double Dare 

says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement to create a CAS project you are eligible to enter your project

"Let's Brown Bag It"  

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker 
says, "Hey, did you know Pack Rat Day is this month? C'mon, admit it... you're a Pack Rat and, like the rest of us scrappers, you're in good company. You know those crumpled brown paper grocery bags or the kind for packed lunches that you have probably accumulated? Before you throw them away, let's make use of the bags for some Kraft crafting. In other words in your project we want you to use that brown paper bag, Kraft paper, or similar for a card, treat bag, scrapbook page, etc."

Thing 3:  Twisted Sister 

says, "I've come out from hiding under my heaps of Things. It's really easy to let Things pile up. After all, surely each item has value or purpose. 'Ya just never know. I figure you're a Pack Rat if you can find something in your stash with spots and/or stripes. Use patterned papers, stencils, embossing, stamps, dies or freehand, etc., and add them to your project. Before you trash, check your stash, and for my optional twist show me "spots and/or stripes" in your project."  

If you have included  "spots and/or stripes" you have earned another chance in our Random Draw and are eligible for Double Dare's Dare below. 

Thing 2:  Double Dare 

says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement using Kraft and have included spots and/or stripes in your project you are eligible to enter your project HERE  at Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog.  

"If you have published your project on Sunday, May 15th, the opening date of Crafter's Cafe Challenge #285, you will be permitted to submit your project in our challenge on Monday, May 16th."

This Challenge runs from 

Friday, February 15, 2021, thru Sunday, February 28, 2021. 

"Layer It On"  

Thing 1: Trouble Maker says, "Remember that seven-layered cake that Grandma used to make? It was so much fun to watch her create it!  Let's see how you can "layer it on" your project with at least three or more layers.  A layer can be panels of cardstock or paper, die-cut or handmade shapes, doilies, flowers, leaves, or even a banner.  Don't keep us counting... tell us how many layers you added to the card base when you post our link in your blog."

Thing 3: Twisted Sister 

says, "That layered cake looks good, but it's missing something.  I always helped my Grandma decorate and embellish the cake.  Oh! Trouble Maker said layered card, not cake. Oh well, let's embellish our layered cards with more layers using 'lace and/or pearls'. Additional embellishments are also acceptable."  

Optional Twist:  Include lace and/or pearls in your project and earn another chance for the Random Draw. 

Thing 2:  Double Dare 

says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement to "Layer it On" and have lace and/or pearls in your project, you are eligible to enter your project HERE  at The Crafter's Cafe.    

This is optional but if you enter their challenge you get another chance for the random draw prize.

says, "I'm not kidding... Let's create a Birthday, Special Occasion project (card, scrapbook page, tags, ATC's, etc.) for our "Kids and Babies" theme.

"Who would have thought? Especially when monkeys are so adorable and fun." Enjoy or add another verse of Twisted Sister's Happy Birthday Song.
